The Men’s Village Garden Club celebrated their 25th anniversary by undertaking the design and donation of their labor (296 manhours) and funding ($4,500) to build this small sitting plaza garden in front of the POA administration building. Club members cleared the site, modified existing site grades, installed and compacted the paver base, installed the brick pavers and planter wall precast units. We relocated two existing stone benches, added a new teak bench, and added a new ceramic planter as the primary focus within the garden. Flowering trees, shrubs and ferns were planted by Club members within newly installed planting soil. The plant beds were then completed by spreading shredded bark mulch. The existing Irrigation system was modified by the POA to provide coverage for the new plantings.
